Valentine-Free Zone – The Anti Valentine Village

This picture was taken excatly two year ago, at the St. Valentine Village in Upper Austria. My friend took a picture of the other side of the street-sign for her friends. Where ever you are around the world, I leave it up to you, if you want to make some happy, buy them flowers, if you just feel the need to spend some money because marketing says so – don’t! – Still – flowers are one of the best ways to say “I love you” – even on the 15th of Februar!

Venice in November

What can I say? I have visited Venice for almost 20 years now, usually around August and September, this was my first time in the late November. I love it! – Its beautifull, just last night I was sitting outside having a Bellini with my English friend and looking at Gondolas passing by and the lights of Lido reflecting in the waters of the Laguna. Magic!

Big Mac of death

Cigarette packages already have to show a warning lable, now they started to talk about a law that would force manufactures of alcohol (including beer and wine) to ad a warning label as well.

With out a doubt, Nicotine and Alcohol are big killers, but so is colesterol, why not have an ad on every product that has colesterol in it – and why we are at it – I’ve heard about quite a few cases where too much water caused the death of someone…

I wonder how many products will feature warning labels in the future! Maybe they instead should start teaching common sense at shool
